Yawnz... i know i have been talking about this since 2008...But I really need a new job ! my current job is killing me, no trading volume, the world has stop spinning and investment banking is crashing to ground zero. I have nothing to do and no more website to surf to kill time liao. Anyone has any interesting website to recommend? (Not those porn or anything please)

Today i skipped my lunch to go to a headhunter for interview and chit chat session as they would call it. I met up a very pretty HR consultant who happens to move from London to Singapore 7 weeks ago. How interesting their life are, being an Ang Moh, like so easy got Singapore firm willing to bring them over... what makes them any better than us? i wonder hard and i wonder why but whatever la, i just hope she will be able to get me an interview for any role. Wahaha... i am really desperate liao... She mentioned a couple of firms "SCB" and "JPM", but oh well, they all sound the same to me apart from one "MAS"... wahaha but she withdrew the offer after she said it out. Think my degree dont fit... haha.. no honors and not local degree also.

I wonder why government sector only take local grad? just to market local degree to singaporean mah?...And even when they take people with no local degree but foreign ones, the pay also got difference.. so unfair.. Oh well life is just never fair. Sian, really need a job change... Anyone got lobang? Going to watch YiZhiMei liao... wahaha...

Welcome 2009, Goodbye 2008.
Yes, 2008 has ended and this is my 1st post of 2009 on my new blog skin. All things start anew again... I hope this would be a good year for everyone, and here are my new year resolution for this year

1. To be healthy and fitter
2. Get my driving licence and a car!
3. To get a better job
4. Just to be happy
5. World Peace!!! (wahaha)

And i hope all my loves one will be happy and their resolution will all be reached... All the best. and Happy New Year...

Today is the eve of christmas eve... and this year will be the most different year since a long long time. This year i will actually not be celebrating Christmas eve and i will have no gf to pei me over it. Yes, that is right. Me and my gf broke off liao... I am actually quite sad and unhappy about it but there is no one to blame more so than myself.

So i guess i have to suffer for it now. It is not say it is a torture, but it just changes life completely and it bring me new perspective about my life. I really need sort out myself and my thinking and my life...

And so All i want for Christmas , is to be a better MAn....

Today i am actually on leave... rotting at home right now... i am also wondering why i took leave when i dont even have plans to do anything... just intend to rot it away.

Anyway i badly needed this break cos i feel so sick about my job... feels so sian when i get into office... to the extend that i decide to take leave to escape away from it.

Oh well.. rot rot and rot away...

This has been quite a turbulent week, if you belong in the banking sector, or do read the news... my company is cutting 5,300 jobs... And i think my job is one of them... Wahaha... As mentioned before, i have been looking around for a new job so i guess asking me to go is better choice however give the current economy, it honestly is not the best time to find a job.. my god! But i guess i dont have too much of a choice, u got to go means u got to go...

Well... as i was saying to my colleagues, we enjoy the peak of the financial sector and so now is time we suffer for it... we had the time that we were earning ridiculous money when everyone had to work for it now. So now is our technical recession, naturally we are the first to go. So as the saying goes "What goes around, comes around" Oh well... who cares... Some think retrenchment, i think opportunity... Sounds like i am consoling myself wahaha...

Enough of the bad news, now some good news... i cleared my CPA paper liao... yeah!! Just login to see the result, i got a distinction for regulatory and reporting, not too bad considering i have not studied for a year or so and i spend 3 days or so for this paper... i personally am quite impressed with myself... wahaha... maybe i am really meant for accounting line... haha..

Anyway, now for another bad news, i am going ganna reservist... 06 May 2009, sian... dont even know my new employee will let me go or not... haha... so that might hinder me in finding a new job... big problem there... oh bothered...

Seem like alot of things is pretty against me lately... sian sian sian...
