Be good or Be good at it
hi all,
today feeling pretty down and disappointed. Ytd i realise i was not going to be promoted this year and today i realise my colleague was given the chance of being promoted.
How irony... and the main difference between me and her... she belong to " be good " catergory and because of that she got the support of my more senior colleague... and well, i guess i belong to the "be good at it" catergory which obviously lacks the popularity.
I was just being too naive i guess... it is not all about being good at what you do... it just about be good... that is all that matters... very sad to say this but when u are working people would only appreciate obedient staff... So sad to say...

My MAcau/Hong Kong (Part 2)
DAy 2 of MAcau started around 10am or so, there was still a slight drizzle so we bought a umbrella for HKD12 and also i forget to mention, 3 days before my Hong Kong , i actually sprain my ankle in soccer and so i was walking quite gingerly... haha...
Anyway we decided to cross the macau border in china, a place called Zhu Hai,which like a Singapore-Johore distance thingy. We ask on the bus to take and my gf noted them down but in the end we took the wrong bus, which was meant to go the st paul cathedral and not Zhu hai, when we realise our mistake we were 30 min into the ride, luckily , it bought us to quite near zhu hai and we change a bus and reach at the terminal
Near the immigration Center to Zhu Hai
We stay at Zhu hai for around 2 hours to 3 hours, had a terrible lunch before we headed back to macau as it was kind dangerous in Zhu Hai.
So when we were back to MAcau, we went to the St Paul CAthedral which was one the major place i wanted to go in MAcau, i think it is quite cool la...
Here it is, Beautiful St PauL
Girl Girl with St PauL
Beautiful DAy in Macau
After St PauL, being very cultural people MAcau De Musuem. Wahaha

Me with one of the ornanment
Vintage European style house. Self taken shot. Wahaha
This is really not easy to carry... wahaha... another one of our self taken shot.
I personally quite like the musuem, spend a bit of time in it and we got to go up atop the museum and have a good view of the area. Will post some up tml to wrap up my 2 days in Macau...
To be continued....

My MAcau/Hong Kong (Part 1)
Hi all (if any),
Once again... long over due posting...
Was in Hong Kong/Macau between 18/6/2008 to 26/6/2008 with my gf... REally spend and shop like mad... so now very poor... haha... here are some pics.. Will be posting them in parts due to having taken so many many of them!!!
Departing From Changi Airport, we did a silly thing by staying overnight at the airport as we had a morning flight and we wanted to save on the cab fare.
On plane to Hong Kong, lovely sunrise taken from the plane. We would reach HK at around 10.25am and when we did we immediately bought ferry ticket and transit to Macau where we would be spending 2 nights of our 9 days holiday
Photo from inside the Ferry to Macau, after this shot, it was a bumpy ride all the way as the rain was pouring causing the waters to be choppy. Many people on board in particular woman, puke like mad... ecks...
Pictures from MAcau ferry terminal, apparently everyone started taking pics of this bridge so i just join in
We stay at the cheapest hotel that we could find in MAcau, and honestly it was not as bad as we thought considering it is the cheapest and it was just 5 min from the very expensive Venetian Macau hotel, so guess no location issue ba... Wahaha
After settling down in our hotel, we decided to go to venetian as it was the only place we could go without having to go under the rain.
The casino was really open concept where it blew open our tiny little wallet as well. : (
Lovely architecture. Fine details.. REally nice sia...
We had our dinner at the below, the food court in venetian, irony part was that it has a store that sell Singapore local food. So funny and apparently business was pretty good!
The Famous Gondola, not sure if i got the spelling right there... wahaha...
Had a good time at venetian, there was really a lot of shops although most of it would not be affordable for me but the surrounding and ambience was just really nice... REally like it. And that was day 1 of my traveling then... wahaha...back to the hotel i went after that..
